“One Vape Was Thrown By Someone..”: Sonu Nigam Refutes Reports Of Stones Being Thrown At DTU College Event

Playback singer Sonu Nigam addressed recent reports about his performance at Delhi Technological University (DTU), where rumors claimed that stones and bottles were hurled at him during the event. The singer took to Instagram to clarify the situation and provide his version of the incident.

Nigam shared that, contrary to media reports, no stones or bottles were thrown at him. He explained that during the performance, someone threw a vape on stage, which hit one of his band members, Subhankar, on the chest. After this incident, Nigam paused the show and reminded the audience about the importance of maintaining decorum, warning that the concert would be stopped if such behavior continued.

The only other item thrown on stage, according to Nigam, was a “Pookie hairband,” which he humorously mentioned as being “really Pookie.” He even went on to wear the hairband and continued his performance without any further disruptions.

The singer, known for his extensive contributions to music across various languages, also took the opportunity to thank his fans for their support and understanding during the concert.
