The Incident at Sandhya Theatre
The incident occurred during the chaotic premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad, where a large crowd had gathered to see Allu Arjun. Police allege that the actor waving to fans from the sunroof of his vehicle contributed to the commotion, ultimately leading to Revathi’s death and injuries to her son.
Authorities claim that Allu Arjun’s security team attempted to push the crowd aside to clear a path for his vehicle but failed to act promptly when warned about the risks posed by the gathering.
In a press conference following the incident, Allu Arjun expressed his deep shock. “The incident at Sandhya Theatre was very unfortunate. I was deeply affected and needed time to process it. It took me about 10 hours to comprehend the gravity of the situation. We were all in shock when we heard the news,” he said during the Pushpa 2 success meet.
As the legal proceedings unfold, the tragic event has sparked debates about crowd management and accountability at high-profile events.
