May 06, 2025 : The final chapter of Netflix’s global phenomenon Squid Game is almost here, as the streaming giant has officially announced that Season 3 will premiere on June 27. A gripping teaser trailer has also been released, offering fans their first look at the high-stakes conclusion to the story.

Continuing from Season 2’s intense cliffhanger, the third season sees Gi-hun (Player 456) return to the deadly competition, this time determined to bring down the system from within. Still tormented by the betrayal and death of his friend Jung-bae (Player 390), Gi-hun must now confront new horrors—including the shocking revelation that the Front Man had infiltrated the rebellion disguised as Player 001.

The teaser trailer opens with pink-uniformed guards delivering a black box to the contestants’ resting area. The players nervously open it to discover Gi-hun inside. As he wakes, the scene transitions to a new game featuring a giant gumball machine that dispenses red and blue balls, representing players’ fates in the next challenge. The trailer ends on an eerie note, with a baby’s cries echoing in the background—hinting at yet another unsettling twist.

Netflix confirmed the premiere date via Instagram, posting: “Player 456 returns, one final time. Watch the final season of Squid Game out on 27 June, only on Netflix.” The season will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, expanding its global reach even further.
