Darjeeling | April 7, 2025 — A video from the shoot of Anurag Basu’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Aashiqui 3, has gone viral, showing actress Sreeleela being suddenly pulled into a crowd by a man while walking alongside co-star Kartik Aaryan. The incident took place in Darjeeling, and has led to a flurry of concern and debate online.

In the now-viral footage, Kartik and Sreeleela are seen navigating a crowded street when an unidentified man reaches out and pulls Sreeleela toward the mob. The actress looks visibly disturbed, trying to protect herself with her arms.

Meanwhile, a section of users speculated that the video may actually be a part of the film’s shoot, given the cinematic setup and reaction delay. “This looks staged. Could it be a dramatic sequence from the movie?” one Reddit user questioned.

Adding to the confusion, Kartik had shared a post from Darjeeling on March 28, captioned “Tu Meri Zindagi Hai,” hinting at a romantic musical tone for the film. The team also met Sikkim’s Chief Minister on April 2, further suggesting ongoing production activity in the region.

Fans Demand Better Security

Regardless of whether the moment was scripted or real, the internet is echoing one sentiment: better crowd control is essential. “Even if it’s a scene, it’s clear that real fans were around, and security looked thin,” one fan pointed out.
