Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan graced the stands of Eden Gardens on Friday, fervently supporting his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their match against Preity Zinta’s Punjab Kings (PBKS). Despite the spirited presence of SRK and his son AbRam, KKR faced defeat against PBKS.

In a captivating reel shared by KKR’s social media team, King Khan was seen engrossed in the match alongside his son, with his manager Pooja Dadlani also in attendance. The presence of the superstar and his son added to the excitement of the stadium atmosphere.

However, the match turned out to be a record-breaking spectacle, with PBKS achieving the highest successful chase in T20 cricket history. Powered by Jonny Bairstow and Shashank Singh’s remarkable batting, PBKS secured an emphatic 8-wicket victory over KKR.

Bairstow and Prabhsimran Singh set the stage on fire with their aggressive hitting, propelling PBKS to a strong start. Despite losing wickets at intervals, PBKS maintained their aggressive stance, ultimately guided by a stellar partnership between Bairstow and Shashank Singh.

Shashank’s masterful performance left KKR’s bowlers perplexed, as PBKS sealed the victory with ease in the 19th over. The match witnessed a barrage of boundaries, with both teams collectively scoring 252 runs solely through sixes, leaving the bowlers struggling to contain the onslaught.
