​​SRK Reacts After Finally Winning a National Film Award After 33 Years-Read on For Complete Award List

It took 33 years for Shah Rukh Khan to win a National Award. He won for his role in Jawaan

New Delhi, August-2, 2025: SRK finally wins the national Film Award, a trophy that was long missing in his repertoire.

The 71st National Film Awards were announced today, and Shah Rukh was conferred the National Film Award for Best Actor for his powerful performance in Jawan.

After the award, SRK thanked his fans and jury members for the award in his signature style.

In his 33 years of career he has done numerous successful films such as Deewana, his debut film, followed by block buster after block buster such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Swades, Chak De! India, Devdas, and My Name Is Khan. While they were all commercial successes, the National award was eluding the star until now.

Apart from SRK the other notable wins were by Vikrant Massey, Rani Mukerji.
