SS Rajamouli Flies from Dubai to Hyderabad to Cast Vote in Telangana Lok Sabha Polls

Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, famed for his epic ‘Baahubali’ series, demonstrated his commitment to democracy by flying from Dubai to Hyderabad to cast his vote in the ongoing Telangana Lok Sabha elections. Joining him were several luminaries from the Telugu cinema industry, including MM Keeravani, Chiranjeevi with wife Surekha Konidela, Jr NTR, and Allu Arjun, all eager to exercise their electoral franchise on Monday.

Amidst the flurry of activity surrounding the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, SS Rajamouli took to social media to share his voting experience. Sharing a picture with his wife Rama Rajamouli, proudly displaying their inked fingers, Rajamouli expressed his dedication, mentioning his rush from the airport directly to the polling booth. Despite their tired looks, they successfully fulfilled their civic duty.

The voting process commenced at 7 am and continued until 6 pm across all Lok Sabha constituencies. Earlier in the day, music maestro MM Keeravani and veteran actor Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela, were spotted at polling stations in Hyderabad, setting an example for citizens to partake in the democratic process. Chiranjeevi, addressing the media, emphasized the importance of voting and urged citizens to exercise their right.

The enthusiasm for voting was palpable as Jr NTR and filmmaker Teja also participated in the electoral process in Telangana. Not to be outdone, popular actor Allu Arjun cast his vote, contributing to the star-studded affair at Hyderabad’s polling stations.

The electoral landscape is marked by a multi-dimensional battle among key players including the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Congress, and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). Simultaneously, polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha commenced, amplifying the significance of this electoral exercise.

With a total of 4,264 nominations filed for 96 parliamentary constituencies, the democratic process is in full swing, reflecting the vibrant spirit of Indian democracy.
