‘Stree 2’ Celebrates Blockbuster Success

To mark the massive box office success of Stree 2, the film’s team hosted a grand celebration that saw the presence of its lead stars, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, among others.

The event was a glittering affair with several prominent names in attendance, including Nimrat Kaur and Anaita Shroff Adajania, who shared moments from the celebration on their social media handles.

Anaita Shroff Adajania took to Instagram to share a series of pictures from the event, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and other attendees. She captioned the post, “Stepped out to celebrate the success of #Stree2 let’s cheer them on!! Hugest congratulations to the team.”

Nimrat Kaur also shared some inside pictures from the bash and expressed how the success of Stree 2 felt like a personal victory. As a die-hard fan of this horror-comedy multiverse, here’s celebrating the loveliest, gorgeous super girl @shraddhakapoor, the forever perplexingly brilliant @rajkummar_rao, and the entire team behind this massive success.”

Stree 2 has taken the box office by storm, outperforming its competitors Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa. The film, which released on August 15, has quickly become the top choice for moviegoers, with trade analyst Taran Adarsh describing its performance as a “storm” or “tsunami” that has swept away everything in its path.

In a post on X, Taran Adarsh detailed the film’s phenomenal box office performance, writing, “Call it a STORM or a TSUNAMI or a TYPHOON… #Stree2 records a SENSATIONAL extended weekend… The two major #Hindi films that released alongside it [#KhelKhelMein, #Vedaa] were severely impacted by the #Stree2 wave… A HISTORIC feat for a mid-sized film.”

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 continues the story that began in 2018 with Stree. With its blend of horror and comedy, the sequel has struck a chord with audiences, ensuring its place as one of the year’s biggest hits.
