Stree 2’s New Song Showcases RajKummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Chemistry

After creating a buzz with “Aaj Ki Raat,” the makers of the horror-comedy Stree 2 have unveiled a new song titled “Tumhare Hi Rahenge Hum,” featuring RajKummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. The song’s lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and performed by Varun Jain, Shilpa Rao, and Sachin-Jigar.

On Tuesday, Maddock Films, the production house behind Stree 2, treated fans to the new song via Instagram. The song beautifully captures the chemistry between Shraddha and RajKummar’s characters.

Vicky, played by RajKummar, expresses his feelings for Shraddha’s character in the song. Sharing the video on Instagram, the caption read, “Intezaar hua hai khatam kyunki tumhare they, tumhare hain, tumhare hi rahenge… hum #TumhareHiRahengeHum – OUT NOW! #Stree2, the legend returns this Independence Day, 15th August, 2024.”

Stree 2 promises a return to the spooky yet hilarious world where the legendary Stree continues to terrify men. The film will see Shraddha and RajKummar reprising their roles, along with Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. Recently, the highly anticipated trailer of the horror-comedy was also released.

The trailer, shared by Shraddha on Instagram, begins with Pankaj Tripathi’s character introducing a new threat, ‘Sarkata,’ to the people of Chanderi. The trailer also highlights Vicky’s love interest in Shraddha. Vicky transforms himself into the prince of Chanderi to save the women from the new threat posed by Sarkata, who aims to abduct all the women of the village.

Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia makes a cameo with a dance number in the movie. The song “Aaj Ki Raat,” sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and composed by the dynamic duo Sachin-Jigar, features Tamannaah in a stunning green outfit, captivating the people of Chanderi.

Stree was released in 2018 and was declared a hit, with the sequel set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is poised to deliver a perfect blend of horror and comedy once again.
