Anil Kapoor’s action drama gains global spotlight with New York promotion
March 8, 2026: Indian cinema made a striking appearance on the global stage as Subedaar was showcased on the massive digital screens of Times Square in New York City. The promotional display for the action drama, streaming on Prime Video, introduced international audiences to the film and highlighted the growing global reach of Indian storytelling. The large-scale showcase marked the beginning of an international promotional campaign for the project.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, the film stars Anil Kapoor as Subedaar Arjun Maurya, a retired soldier whose peaceful civilian life is disrupted by an unexpected incident that pulls him back into conflict. As the story unfolds, the character faces crime, corruption and personal challenges while trying to protect his loved ones and reclaim his sense of honour.
Alongside Kapoor, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Radhikka Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik, Mona Singh and Khushboo Sundar. Produced by Anil Kapoor, Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni, the film premiered on Prime Video on March 5 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, reaching viewers across India and more than 240 countries and territories.
