Suniel Shetty’s Intense First Look As Vegdaji from ‘Kesari Veer’ Revealed, Take A Look!

April 26, 2025: Actor Suniel Shetty has unveiled the first look of his character, Vegdaji, from his upcoming period drama Kesari Veer. The poster, which dropped on Friday, features Shetty in a fierce warrior avatar, embodying the role of a fearless fighter who was part of the legendary battle at Somnath.

Taking to Instagram, Shetty shared the intense poster with the caption:
“#Vegdaji, ek mahan yoddhaa and a fearless warrior of the battle of mighty #Somnath #HarHarMahadev. Releasing worldwide in cinemas on 16th May, 2025.”

In addition to Shetty’s striking reveal, the film’s makers also shared a poster featuring Vivek Oberoi, who plays the character Zafar Khan in the film.

Kesari Veer is set in the 14th century and tells the inspiring tale of unsung warriors who fought to protect the Somnath Temple from invaders. Along with Shetty and Oberoi, the film stars Sooraj Pancholi in a key role. Directed by Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan, the film promises a gripping and historically accurate portrayal of a lesser-known chapter in India’s history.

While the film was originally slated for release on March 14, 2025, it will now hit cinemas worldwide on May 16, 2025.

In addition to Kesari Veer, Suniel Shetty has several exciting projects lined up, including The Legend of Somnath, Welcome to the Jungle, a Lionsgate show titled Nanda Devi, and Hunter 3.
