Suniel Shetty's Kesari Veer Delayed, Gets A New Release Date
March 11, 2025: The release date of the much-anticipated period drama Kesari Veer, starring Suniel Shetty, has been postponed. Originally set to release on March 14, 2025, the film will now hit theatres on May 16, 2025. Panorama Studios, the official distributor of the film, announced this delay to ensure a “more impactful worldwide launch” for the movie.
In addition to Suniel Shetty, Kesari Veer features Sooraj Pancholi and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. The film is produced by the veteran Kanu Chauhan and directed by Prince Dhiman. Panorama Studios shared the news of the new release date via their Instagram handle, mentioning that the overwhelming love and anticipation for the film led to the decision to push back the release.
The film delves into the inspiring tale of unsung warriors who fought to protect the Somnath Temple from invaders during the 14th century AD. Producer Kanu Chauhan expressed that the story was deeply personal to him, as it sheds light on a lesser-known chapter of history. Director Prince Dhiman shared his emotional connection to the story, stating that he carried out thorough research to ensure the historical accuracy of every detail.
More updates regarding the film are awaited, and fans are eagerly looking forward to its release. In the meantime, Suniel Shetty will be seen in several upcoming projects, including The Legend of Somnath, Welcome to the Jungle, the show Nanda Devi with Lionsgate, and Hunter 3.
