Suniel Shetty’s ‘Kesari Veer’ Release Postponed To May 23, 2025

May 5, 2025: The release date of the much-anticipated historical drama Kesari Veer, starring Suniel Shetty, has been pushed back once again. Originally slated to hit theatres on May 16, 2025, the film will now release a week later on May 23, 2025, as confirmed by its distributor, Panorama Studios.

The announcement was made via an Instagram post that featured a new poster of the film. The caption read:
“See you in the theatres on 23rd May 2025. Releasing Worldwide in Cinemas on 23rd May, 2025.”

Directed by Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan, Kesari Veer stars Suniel Shetty alongside Sooraj Pancholi and Vivek Oberoi. The film tells the heroic story of unsung warriors who defended the Somnath Temple from invaders during the 14th century.

Producer Kanu Chauhan revealed that the film stems from a deeply personal passion to spotlight a forgotten but powerful chapter of Indian history. Director Prince Dhiman added that the emotionally resonant narrative drove him to undertake meticulous historical research to maintain authenticity.

Aside from Kesari Veer, Suniel Shetty has a busy slate ahead with projects like The Legend of Somnath, Welcome to the Jungle, the Lionsgate-backed show Nanda Devi, and Hunter 3.
