The actor, known for his powerful roles in films like Gadar, spent the day with the jawans, participating in activities, sharing personal moments, and saluting the bravery of the nation’s defenders.

Sunny Deol took to Instagram to share his experience, posting several videos and images from his visit. One video featured Deol and the soldiers chanting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” while other pictures showed him engaging with the soldiers, posing for photos, and even participating in arm wrestling with them. This tribute comes on the 77th Army Day, which commemorates the service and sacrifice of the Indian Army. On the professional front, Sunny Deol is preparing for the release of Border 2, a highly anticipated sequel to the iconic 1997 film Border. Slated for release in January 2026, Border 2 will feature a star-studded cast, including Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahaan Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film will see Deol reprise his role in an action-packed, patriotic narrative based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

In addition to Border 2, Sunny Deol will also be seen in Jaat, an action-packed thriller set to release in April 2025.
