May 13, 2025: After winning hearts with her role as Phool in Laapataa Ladies, 17-year-old actress Nitanshi Goel is all set to walk the prestigious red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Representing global beauty brand L’Oréal Paris, Nitanshi will make her debut at the international event, which runs from May 13 to May 24 at the French Riviera.

The young star’s appearance at Cannes marks a significant milestone in her rapidly rising career. Her performance in Laapataa Ladies, which premiered on Netflix on April 26, 2024, received critical acclaim and contributed to the film’s commercial and award-season success both in India and abroad.

Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore will attend a special 4K screening of Satyajit Ray’s Aranyer Din Ratri, while acclaimed filmmaker Payal Kapadia returns as a Cannes jury member, following her historic Grand Prix win last year.
Meanwhile, Anupam Kher’s upcoming film Tanvi The Great will have its world premiere at the Marché du Film, further highlighting India’s strong cinematic presence at the festival.
