
Tabu Secures Key Role in Hollywood Series 'Dune: Prophecy
Renowned actor Tabu has clinched a significant role in the upcoming international series ‘Dune: Prophecy’. Portraying the character of Sister Francesca, Tabu joins the ensemble cast of the Max prequel series, as reported by Variety.

Based on the novel ‘Sisterhood of Dune’ by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, ‘Dune: Prophecy’ is set in the expansive universe of ‘Dune’, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert. Positioned 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides, the series follows two Harkonnen sisters as they confront threats to humanity’s future and establish the legendary sect known as the Bene Gesserit.
Tabu joins an esteemed cast including Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, and others. Co-produced by Max and Legendary Television, the series is part of the broader ‘Dune’ franchise, with Legendary also overseeing the film adaptations.
While the release date remains undisclosed, Tabu’s involvement marks another milestone in her illustrious career, which previously saw her venture into western cinema with acclaimed films like ‘The Namesake’ (2006) and ‘Life of Pi’ (2012).
In Bollywood, Tabu reunites with Ajay Devgn for the film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum’, directed by Neeraj Pandey. Expected to release in July, the movie is set to be an epic musical romantic drama spanning over two decades, showcasing the enduring collaboration between Tabu and Ajay Devgn, who have shared the screen in multiple successful projects.
