Tabu’s Team Slams ‘False’ And ‘Demeaning’ Articles, Calls It A Breach Of Ethics

January 20, 2025: Tabu’s team has issued a strong statement condemning recent derogatory articles that falsely attributed certain undignified views on marriage to the actress. The reports, published across several websites and social media platforms, claimed to quote Tabu on her personal stance regarding marriage, but according to her team, these quotes were entirely fabricated.

In their statement, Tabu’s team clarified that the actress had never made such statements, emphasizing that this was a serious breach of ethics aimed at misleading the public. They also demanded a formal apology from the websites and social media accounts responsible for spreading the false information.

“There are several websites and social media handles that have falsely attributed certain undignified statements to Tabu. We would like to clarify that she never made these quotes, and it is a serious breach of ethics to mislead the audience,” the statement read.

Further, the team called for an immediate removal of the fabricated quotes and requested the concerned parties to issue a formal apology for their actions.

On the professional front, Tabu is currently engaged in shooting for the upcoming film ‘Bhooth Bangla’, which stars Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. This film marks the reunion of Tabu and Akshay Kumar after 25 years, the two last being seen together in the iconic comedy ‘Hera Pheri’. Additionally, Bhooth Bangla will see the return of Priyadarshan as director, with whom Akshay Kumar has delivered several hit films like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhagam Bhag’, and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’. The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films. It is slated for a theatrical release on April 2, 2026.

Tabu was last seen playing the role of Sister Francesca in the web series ‘Dune: Prophecy’.
