Baby John is an official adaptation of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri, which starred Vijay and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film promises to be a high-octane entertainer, packed with mass action and emotional depth.
A major highlight of the trailer is the surprise cameo by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Though his face is obscured with a black cloth, the brief glimpse of his eyes and his final line, “Merry Christmas”, left fans eagerly anticipating his role in the film.
In the trailer, Varun Dhawan impressively portrays a police officer, a father, and a romantic lead, showcasing his versatility. The trailer also features Jackie Shroff in a menacing role as the antagonist, with Wamiqa Gabbi playing a significant part in the storyline.
Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, and directed by A. Kaleeswaran, Baby John is slated for release on December 25. With its exciting action sequences, emotional narrative, and the addition of a Salman Khan cameo, the film has generated significant buzz and is expected to be a big hit this Christmas.
