The trailer introduces us to newlyweds Koyal (played by Yami Gautam) and Veer (Pratik Gandhi), whose romantic evening quickly spirals into an evening of confusion and mayhem. As identities are mistaken, surprise guests pop up, and awkward situations unfold, the couple is thrown into an unpredictable and wild journey. Yami Gautam’s character Koyal stands out with her fierce persona, delivering punches and kicks, while Pratik Gandhi’s character appears bewildered by the chaos around him.
Yami Gautam expressed her excitement about returning to the screen after nearly a year and praised her character’s uniqueness. “Koyal defies the usual ‘bride’ stereotypes without being brash or bullish or anything you have watched on screen before,” she shared, adding that she believes many young women today will be able to relate to her character.
Director Rishab Seth also shared his praise for the lead actors, highlighting the chemistry between Yami and Pratik. “Yami and Pratik bring such an effortless charm to their roles, making Koyal and Veer’s journey all the more delightful,” he said, expressing his excitement for audiences to experience the film.
In a media interaction after the trailer release, Yami reflected on balancing her career and motherhood. She credited her parents for their unwavering support in caring for her child while she works. “Our parents look after our baby when we are working. It is the most important thing for us,” Yami said, emphasizing the crucial role family plays in supporting working parents.
The film is produced by Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar of B62 Studios, along with Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios. Dhoom Dhaam promises to be a lively and entertaining watch, offering a unique take on love and chaos just in time for Valentine’s Day.
