Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], June 29: The highly anticipated trailer for Tanvi The Great is set to drop on Monday, June 30, building excitement for the inspiring drama ahead of its theatrical release.
Ahead of the trailer launch, veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a special video on Instagram showcasing the film’s growing acclaim on the international stage. The montage features reactions from audiences at global film festivals, including legendary actor Robert De Niro watching the film at the New York Indian Film Festival. It also highlights moments from the film’s world premiere at Cannes, along with screenings in London, Houston, and New York.
In his caption, Kher wrote, “TRAILER OUT TOMORROW: From a quiet dream to a global stage, with even Robert De Niro being among those who witnessed her story, #TanviTheGreat has travelled far and touched many hearts. And now, she’s back to where her heart belongs, ready to meet you. Trailer out tomorrow. Arriving in cinemas on 18th July.”
Tanvi The Great tells the story of 21-year-old Tanvi Raina, a young woman with autism who uncovers her late Indian Army officer father’s unfulfilled dream: to stand at Siachen, the world’s highest battlefield, and salute the Indian flag. Undeterred by societal biases and military restrictions against autistic individuals, Tanvi embarks on a courageous mission to complete her father’s wish, according to Variety.
The film features newcomer Subhangi Dutt in the titular role, with Karan Tacker, Boman Irani, and Anupam Kher in key supporting performances. Tanvi The Great is slated to release in cinemas on July 18.
