Tanya Mittal Reveals Why She Didn’t Attend Gaurav Khanna’s Birthday Bash

The Bigg Boss 19 finalist stated she refused to attend the winner’s birthday party because he had questioned her family’s integrity inside the house.

December 12, 2025: Days after the Bigg Boss 19 Grand Finale, the rift between winner Gaurav Khanna and finalist Tanya Mittal is wide open. While Gaurav hosted a grand birthday party on December 11, fellow finalist Tanya Mittal was a noticeable absentee, and she has now revealed that unresolved insults from inside the house were the reason.

Gaurav Khanna’s birthday celebration was attended by many of his co-contestants, including Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, Mridul Tiwari, and Abhishek Bajaj. Musicians Amaal Mallik, Shehbaz Badesha, and Neelam Giri were also seen having a blast, dancing to popular songs.

The Reason for The Snub

Spotted by the paparazzi in Mumbai around the same time as the bash, Tanya Mittal was asked if she would attend the celebration. She firmly declined, stating that she did not wish to interact with people who had insulted her during the show.

Tanya specifically called out Gaurav Khanna’s comments regarding her family and integrity:

“No, I will not go. I have made it very clear that whoever insulted me…And GK sir also said that I am hiding my family so that my truth doesn’t come out. So if they don’t trust my family, then what reason would I have to go there and try to gain their trust?” she explained.

Tanya’s comment points to the deep personal hurt caused by accusations made inside the house, particularly the frequent comments questioning her authenticity and lifestyle, which she and her family felt were targeted attacks.

Post-Show Celebrations

Despite the snub, Gaurav Khanna’s birthday celebrations continued. Earlier in the day, the Bigg Boss 19 winner was spotted at the Siddhivinayak Temple seeking blessings, accompanied by friends Pranit More and Mridul Tiwari.

The birthday boy had previously expressed a wish on the show to have the season extended so he could celebrate his birthday inside the Bigg Boss house, noting he was “really enjoying myself inside.”

The post-show friction between the former housemates highlights the continued emotional fallout and rivalries sparked by their intense time on the reality show.
