The Bigg Boss 19 finalist is facing a massive controversy after her stylist claimed she withheld payments for expensive clothes and showed “attitude” post-finale.
December 11, 2025: Following the highly publicized finale of Bigg Boss 19, finalist and spiritual influencer Tanya Mittal has found herself embroiled in a major controversy after her stylist, Riddhima Sharma, publicly accused her of non-payment, failing to return expensive outfits, and showing severe disrespect to designers and stylists.
Riddhima Sharma took to her Instagram on Wednesday to share a lengthy, frustrated post detailing her grievances, claiming that despite her full professional support, Tanya and her team treated her poorly.
Sharma stated that she sourced numerous expensive outfits, including sarees and lehengas, for Tanya during her crucial final week in the Bigg Boss house, including the Grand Finale. She claimed that none of the outfits have been returned, and payment for several items and services remains pending.
“I have always supported Tanya in every interview… Mere se hi kapde source krwake hume hi attitude (They got us to source clothes for them, and now they are showing attitude to us),” Riddhima wrote, adding that Tanya’s team had threatened to withhold payment if a last-minute outfit was not sourced.
Riddhima revealed the scale of the expenses, noting the contrast with the low payment she was offered. “In Bigg Boss, the payment for one week is 50k. All the outfits I sent were expensive — yesterday’s lehenga alone was 58k. And still, I’m charging very little,” she stated.
The stylist also took offense at a comment made by Tanya where she allegedly appeared to look down on tailors and designers, despite wearing expensive, sourced clothing.
“And now she is making faces and talking about tailors and designers? What an attitude. Big claps. Is this what respect looks like?” Riddhima challenged, demanding payment for the last two ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ outfits and the outfit styled for Tanya’s brother for the finale.
Tanya Mittal, who finished as the 3rd runner-up, repeatedly spoke of her love for sarees on the show, claiming to have carried around 800 sarees into the Bigg Boss house. She has already secured an acting project with Ekta Kapoor and is set to kickstart her acting career soon.
The accusations have created a significant backlash online, raising questions about professional ethics and celebrity conduct in the industry. Tanya Mittal has not yet responded to the allegations.
