Tanya Singh Clarifies Her Daughter Tishaa Kumar's Passing Was Not Due To Cancer
November 29, 2024 : The tragic passing of Tishaa Kumar, the 20-year-old daughter of producer Krishan Kumar and his wife Tanya Singh, has clearly been an incredibly painful and emotional experience for the family.
In her recent Instagram post, Tanya Singh has bravely opened up about the circumstances surrounding her daughter’s death, which she describes as being caused by a “wrong diagnosis” rather than cancer, as many had assumed.
According to Tanya, the series of events leading to her daughter’s death began when Tishaa, at age 15, received a vaccine that may have triggered an autoimmune reaction. Tanya believes that this reaction was misdiagnosed, and Tishaa’s condition was wrongly attributed to cancer. The family’s trust in the medical system was shaken, with Tanya describing their experience as a “medical trap.” She explained that lymph node swelling—often a sign of illness—could also be caused by emotional trauma or undiagnosed infections, which added to the confusion surrounding her daughter’s condition.
Tanya also expressed her belief in karmic forces, suggesting that there were deeper, unseen forces at play, beyond what conventional medicine could explain. In her post, she also addressed the skepticism surrounding beliefs in the “evil eye” and “dark magic,” stating that the truth would eventually reveal itself, regardless of what others might think or believe.
Tishaa’s death, which occurred in July 2023, follows a period of misdiagnosis, and her final public appearance was just months before her passing, at the premiere of the film Animal in November 2023.
This revelation about the misdiagnosis, coupled with the emotional grief of losing a child so young, has understandably drawn a lot of public sympathy and raised important questions about medical practices and the complexities of diagnosing autoimmune and other rare conditions. It’s heartbreaking to think of the emotional toll this family has endured, and Tanya Singh’s post is a powerful testament to their sorrow, pain, and struggle for the truth.
