The high-stakes legal feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni could soon pull in Hollywood heavyweights, including Swift and Jackman, as key witnesses.

The courtroom clash between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is rapidly becoming one of Hollywood’s most explosive legal dramas — and now, it may draw in Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman as official participants.
According to a Daily Mail report, both stars are expected to be subpoenaed this week in connection to the ongoing $400 million legal battle that has split celebrity circles and grabbed headlines for months.
“They will definitely be served this week. It could happen at any time,” an insider told the outlet, confirming Swift is “waiting for” her subpoena.
The Case: A Hollywood Feud Gone Legal
The legal battle began in December 2024, when Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director, alleging sexual harassment and orchestrating a smear campaign.

Baldoni responded with a $400 million countersuit against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, accusing them of defamation, civil extortion, and invasion of privacy.
Both sides deny all allegations, and the case is headed to trial in March 2026.

Taylor Swift’s Alleged Involvement
Swift, a longtime friend of Lively and Reynolds — and godmother to their three children — has already been named in Baldoni’s lawsuit.
In court documents, Baldoni cited an alleged text from Lively, in which she described Swift and Reynolds as her “dragons” — a reference to Game of Thrones’ Daenerys Targaryen — who protect her fiercely.
Additionally, Baldoni claimed Swift was present during a script meeting at Lively’s NYC penthouse and was used to “intimidate” him during a creative disagreement over the film’s rooftop scene.
Swift’s 2020 track “My Tears Ricochet” also features in the It Ends With Us trailer, deepening her passive involvement in the production.
Hugh Jackman: Deadpool Drama Enters Courtroom
Jackman, a close friend of Reynolds and Lively, may also find himself drawn into the dispute. Baldoni’s legal team suggests that a character in Deadpool and Wolverine — “Nicepool,” played by Jackman — is a parody of Baldoni.
The character’s man bun hairstyle, floral setting, and emotional takedown by Lively’s character are said to mirror Baldoni’s real-life traits and his It Ends With Us role.
Loyalty and Fallout
Swift has not appeared in public with Lively since the legal drama began, though sources say Lively has apologized to Swift for involving her in the mess.
“It was never her intention to hurt Taylor or damage their friendship,” an insider told Page Six.
“Taylor appreciated the apology and felt it was genuine.”
Jackman, meanwhile, has remained silent. But given his ties to the Reynolds–Lively camp, his potential testimony could be critical.
