Taylor Swift’s Generosity Shines: $197 Million in Bonuses for Eras Tour Crew and Performers

December 11, 2024: Taylor Swift has once again shown her commitment to the people behind the scenes, giving away an astonishing $197 million in bonuses to her Eras Tour crew and performers. From truck drivers to choreographers, and hair and makeup artists to riggers, no one was left out of Swift’s appreciation for their hard work on her record-breaking tour.

The Eras Tour, which concluded on Sunday at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, was nothing short of a phenomenon. The 34-year-old pop icon expressed heartfelt gratitude to her team and fans alike, calling the tour “the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”

Before performing the final track of her setlist, Swift addressed her audience, saying, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date—my beloved Eras Tour.”

Swift’s Vancouver show marked the 149th performance of the tour, which kicked off in March 2023. The tour drew a staggering 10,168,008 attendees and raked in $2.08 billion in ticket sales—more than double the gross revenue of any other concert tour in history, according to Taylor Swift Touring and the New York Times.

This isn’t the first time Swift has made headlines for her generosity. In August 2023, after wrapping the first North American leg of the tour, she distributed over $55 million in bonuses to her crew.

Meanwhile, Swift continues to dominate the global music scene. With over 26.6 billion Spotify streams in 2023, she was one of the most-streamed artists for the second consecutive year, alongside The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, Drake, and Billie Eilish.

Adding to her accolades, Taylor Swift was ranked the second greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard magazine and named their Top Artist of 2023.
