Teaser of Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt ‘s ‘The Electric State’ out

Los Angeles [US], October 17, 2024: Netflix has unveiled the teaser for The Electric State, a sci-fi adventure starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, directed by the Russo Brothers. Set in an alternate America in the mid-1990s, the film follows Michelle, played by Brown, as she embarks on a journey across the country in search of her missing brother amidst a civil war between humans and the robots that once served them.

Brown’s character meets Keats, a smuggler portrayed by Pratt, who becomes her unlikely ally. “It’s a story of survival and discovery in a world where humanity’s creation has turned against them,” Variety reports.

The Electric State boasts a star-studded cast including Stanley Tucci as Ethan Skate, Giancarlo Esposito as Colonel Marshall Bradbury, Woody Norman as Michelle’s missing brother, and Ke Huy Quan as Dr. Amherst. The film also features voice roles from Anthony Mackie, Billy Bob Thornton, Woody Harrelson, Jenny Slate, Jason Alexander, Alan Tudyk, and Brian Cox.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film is based on the graphic novel by Simon Stalenhag, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film promises a thrilling, visually stunning adventure and is set to release on Netflix on March 14, 2025.
