The anticipation for Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2 is reaching fever pitch. On Wednesday, the filmmakers shared a teaser poster for the film’s second single, heightening fans’ excitement.
This upcoming track will feature both Srivalli (Rashmika) and her Saami (Pushpa Raj aka Allu Arjun), promising to be as catchy as the hit song “Saami Saami” from the first installment. The makers took to social media to announce, “After the takeover by Pushpa Raj with #PushpaPushpa, it is time for The Couple, Srivalli along with her Saami to mesmerise us all #Pushpa2SecondSingle announcement tomorrow at 11.07 AM #Pushpa2TheRule Grand release worldwide on 15th AUG 2024.”
The film’s first track, “Pushpa Pushpa,” was recently released in six languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali—ensuring widespread appeal across India.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, Pushpa 2: The Rule is slated for a grand release on August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun, who plays the lead role, received a National Film Award for his performance in the first part. The original film, Pushpa: The Rise, depicted power struggles set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling and was directed by Sukumar.
The sequel will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively. The film will be released in Telugu, as well as other South Indian languages and Hindi. Pushpa: The Rise was released in December 2021, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the sequel ever since.
