Clash with Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat
Thamma locked horns with Milap Zaveri’s romantic drama, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa. While Thamma is leading the race, the romantic film has also managed a solid opening weekend with strong word-of-mouth:
- Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Day 1: ₹9.00 crore
- Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Day 2: ₹7.75 crore
- Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Day 3: ₹6.00 crore
- Total Collection (3 Days): ₹22.75 crore
Despite having significantly fewer screens than Thamma, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat has drawn massive crowds, proving that two films can perform well simultaneously during a major festive week.
