October 24, 2025: Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s horror-comedy Thamma is enjoying a fantastic run at the box office, surpassing the ₹55 crore mark within its first three days of release. The film, which is part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, has successfully maintained momentum despite facing stiff competition from the romantic drama, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.

The film, produced by Maddock Films, is a blend of suspense, thrill, and romance set in a fictional world. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, a journalist who gets involved with the mysterious Betal-vampire named Tadaka, played by Rashmika Mandanna. Their love story is threatened by the king of darkness, Yakshasan, portrayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
