Thandel Box Office Collection Day 15: Naga Chaitanya’s Film Struggles as Earnings Drop 77% in Week 2
February 22, 2025: Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi’s Thandel is witnessing a sharp decline at the box office. The film, which had a stellar Week 1 collection of ₹49.4 crore, saw earnings plummet by 77.13% in Week 2, managing just ₹11.3 crore.
Thandel’s digital rights have been acquired by Netflix for ₹40 crore. Reports suggest the movie will premiere in the second week of March, with March 7 or March 14 being the likely dates. However, an official announcement is still awaited.
While Thandel remains Naga Chaitanya’s biggest hit, its rapid decline suggests a fading theatrical run. With Chhaava dominating the box office, the film’s OTT release will determine its long-term success.
