The Burrow is Nearly Full: HBO Reveals Weasley Sibling Cast for Harry Potter Series

With shooting underway, the highly anticipated HBO reboot has officially cast the young actors for Fred, George, Percy, and Ginny, joining a rapidly growing list of confirmed stars.

August 20, 2025: The developers of the new HBO Harry Potter series have officially revealed the young actors who will play the popular Weasley brothers. This adds to the huge excitement around the show.

The streaming service posted a picture of the new cast members on social media with the phrase, “The Burrow is nearly full.” This confirmed that the show was making a lot of progress in its development.

The announcement confirms that the following people will be in the cast:

Tristan Harland and Gabriel Harland play Fred and George Weasley, the naughty twins.

Ruari Spooner plays Percy Weasley, who is hard-working and follows the rules.

Gracie Cochrane plays Ginny Weasley, the youngest and only daughter of the Weasley family.

These young performers will be in the movie with Alastair Stout, who has already been confirmed to play Ron Weasley. Katherine Parkinson will play Molly Weasley, the mother of the Weasley family. The family is almost complete, but the casting for patriarch Arthur Weasley and oldest brother Charlie Weasley has not yet been disclosed.

The Weasley siblings are the latest big casting news that has set the ground for the highly anticipated adaptation. Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry Potter, and Arabella Stanton will play Hermione Granger. John Lithgow as Professor Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, and Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid are some of the important adult roles that the series has cast. Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy are two new characters.
