The Great Khali Takes Holy Dip In Triveni Sangam At Mahakumbh

January 30, 2025: Former Indian WWE wrestler, ‘The Great Khali,’ participated in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on Thursday, where he took a holy dip at the sacred Triveni Sangam.

Accompanied by his peers, Khali shared a video of the moment on his Instagram, showing his spiritual journey during the massive religious gathering.

The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has seen an influx of notable personalities, with a number of celebrities traveling to Prayagraj to take part in the ritual of the holy dip at the Sangam. Actor and model Milind Soman, along with his wife Ankita Konwar, also took part in the auspicious event on Mauni Amavasya, sharing a series of pictures on Instagram. Milind expressed both his sense of spirituality and his condolences for the victims of the tragic stampede that occurred earlier in the week.

Milind Soman, who was dressed in a yellow dhoti, wrote on his Instagram: “Blessed to be at the Mahakumbh with @ankita_earthy on the very special day of Mauni Amavasya! Such a spiritual space and experience reminds me of how small and insignificant I am in the vastness of existence and how every moment that we are here is so special. Even though my heart is full, I am saddened by the events of last night, and my prayers are with the families who lost loved ones. Har Har Gange! Har Har Mahadev!!”

Veteran actor and BJP MP, Hema Malini, also participated in the religious event, taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam on Mauni Amavasya. She expressed her gratitude for being part of the occasion, calling it “a good fortune” to take part in the auspicious ritual.

In addition to Milind Soman and Hema Malini, other celebrities like Sunil Grover, Kabir Khan, Guru Randhawa, Avinash Tiwary, Mamta Kulkarni, and Anupam Kher also visited the Maha Kumbh Mela, contributing to the grandeur of the spiritual gathering.

The Kumbh Mela, which holds immense religious significance, continues to draw attention from across the globe, bringing together millions of devotees and well-wishers. Amidst the celebrations, the tragic stampede that claimed several lives earlier in the week remains a poignant reminder of the need for greater safety measures in such massive events.
