'The Kerala Story 2' Teaser Out: Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha and Aditi Bhatia Lead the Fight Back
The wait for the next chapter of the controversial and high-impact franchise is over. On Friday, January 30, 2026, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah unveiled the teaser for The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond. This sequel, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kamakhya Narayan Singh, promises a significant shift in perspective—moving from the documentation of victimhood to a narrative of fierce retaliation.
The teaser introduces three new protagonists played by Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha, and Aditi Bhatia. While their journeys begin with the familiar beats of romance and trust, the mood quickly darkens. The footage captures an unsettling descent into psychological manipulation and forced religious conversion, showcasing the girls grappling with confinement and a loss of identity.
However, unlike its predecessor, The Kerala Story 2 appears to focus heavily on the aftermath of entrapment. The teaser pivots to show the women reclaiming their agency and confronting their oppressors. This newfound defiance is encapsulated in the film’s powerful rallying cry: “Ab Sahenge Nahi… Ladenge!” (We won’t endure anymore… we will fight!).
Produced under the Sunshine Pictures banner, the film is aiming for a wider scope, reportedly exploring “hidden truths” that extend beyond state lines. With a new cast and a more confrontational tone, the film is already generating significant buzz across social media. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release on February 27, 2026.
