The OTT world is where “Mission Raniganj,” starring Akshay Kumar, begins its journey.

“Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,” starring Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar, is ready to embark on its journey on Netflix.
Netflix surprised fans by announcing the movie’s OTT release on its Instagram handle, complete with a detailed poster.

They wrote, “One man who fought against all odds: Jaswant Singh Gill,” sharing the news. Watch the amazing true story #MissionRaniganj exclusively on Netflix right now.”
Fans and followers immediately commented in the comment section upon the announcement of the news.
A user commented, “Zabardast movie.”
An additional user said, “@akshaykumar made us cry the whole way through the film.

On October 6, “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue,” which starred Parineeti Chopra and Akshay Kumar in the key roles, was released in theatres.
Previously, Akshay and director Tinu Suresh Desai worked together on the crime thriller “Rustom.”
The real-life unsung hero Jaswant Singh Gill was portrayed by Akshay.
He recently disclosed that this is the “best film” he has ever done.
About 71 miners were trapped in the coal mine approximately 350 feet below the surface, and Sardar Jaswant Singh Gill, an engineer, was present when the incident occurred. This incident is known as Mission Raniganj. There were also some visitors from the UK and France.

They all claimed that since nearly a trillion gallons of water were filled below with carbon dioxide-sorted filler, it would be impossible to extricate them and that they would all perish. As Akshay stated to ANI,
“Then there is a man who decides that I am going to save them,” he continued. He went down and removed each one of them one by one, and he himself came last. I’m not sure if anyone else is aware that death is inevitable. Even though this movie won’t be a commercial hit—I’ve done a lot of them—I can confidently say it’s the best one I’ve ever done.

Ye meri sabse behtareen, sabse imaandaar, sabse sachchi aur sabse achi film hai. What matters to me is that I have made an honest film.”

Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, it is helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai.
The late Jaswant Singh Gill, who oversaw India’s first successful coal mine rescue operation, is the inspiration for the film.
