Prabhas film faces piracy setback soon after Sankranthi release
January 11, 2026: Maruthi’s much-awaited horror comedy The Raja Saab starring Prabhas released in theatres on Friday ahead of the Sankranthi festival. However the excitement was short lived as the film was reportedly leaked online within 24 hours of its release prompting swift action from cybercrime authorities in Hyderabad.

Several links hosting the pirated version were taken down while investigations continue to identify those responsible. The leak has once again raised serious concerns within the film industry over repeated piracy threats during major releases.
