The Raja Saab Teaser: Prabhas in Dual Avatar, Sanjay Dutt’s Entry Shocks Fans!

June 16, 2025: The highly-anticipated teaser of Prabhas‘ upcoming film The Raja Saab was officially released on Monday, setting social media abuzz with excitement. Directed by Maruthi, the Telugu horror-fantasy film features an ensemble cast including Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, with Sanjay Dutt making a surprise appearance in a villainous avatar.

The teaser, which was screened exclusively in select theatres before its digital drop, introduces audiences to a haunting yet visually captivating world. Set in a grand 41,256 sq ft haunted haveli—touted as India’s biggest horror set—the story unfolds around secrets, spirits, and a love story twisted with supernatural chaos.

Prabhas, who is known for his larger-than-life epics, appears in a refreshing boy-next-door role, mixing humor, horror, and romance. The teaser showcases his character deeply in love with Nidhhi’s character, even giving a playful nod to Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi version while expressing his affection.

The film promises a rollercoaster of genres, blending horror, fantasy, folklore, and drama with brilliant VFX and high-octane visuals. Malavika Mohanan’s character appears obsessively infatuated with Prabhas, while a major twist is hinted when he enters the mysterious haveli teeming with ghosts and secrets.

During the teaser launch, director Maruthi described the film as “a genre-defying journey between the real and the surreal,” emphasizing its core emotional narrative wrapped in “magic, mystery, and madness.”

The makers also issued a warning after teaser footage leaked online over the weekend, urging fans not to share pirated content. In a strict note on X (formerly Twitter), they warned, “Strict action will be taken and handles will be suspended immediately if any leaked content from #TheRajaSaab is found.”

Initially scheduled for April 10, the release was postponed. The Raja Saab is now slated to hit theatres on December 5, 2025, and is backed by T.G. Vishwa Prasad with music composed by Thaman S.
