‘The Roshans’: Netflix Announces Docu-Series On Hrithik Roshan And Family’s Legacy

December 4, 2024: A new docu-series titled The Roshans is set to explore the rich legacy of the Roshan family, focusing on actor Hrithik Roshan, his father Rakesh Roshan, his musician uncle Rajesh Roshan, and his late grandfather, Roshan, who was a prominent music maestro in Hindi cinema.

The series promises to provide an in-depth look at the lives of this celebrated family and their significant contributions to the film industry, shedding light on their musical and cinematic influence over the years. The Roshan family, who have shaped and enriched Hindi cinema, will open up about their journey through the years in this deeply personal and historical exploration.

Hrithik took to his Instagram to announce the docu-series, writing: “A profound journey through legacy and love with the family that brought music, magic, and unforgettable moments to Hindi cinema. Watch The Roshans, coming soon, only on Netflix.”

In a statement, the Roshan family expressed their excitement about partnering with Netflix, noting that the platform will allow them to share their story with a global audience. They added that the series would unveil untold stories that have shaped their lives and careers.

Director Shashi Ranjan shared his enthusiasm about the project, stating: “Directing this docu-series has been an incredibly rewarding journey. Earlier, Rakesh Roshan shared pictures with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, expressing gratitude for his contribution to the docu-series. He posted the images on Instagram with the caption: “Thank you Shahrukh for your love, warmth & contribution to ‘The Roshans.'”

The series is produced by Rakesh Roshan and Shashi Ranjan, with Shashi Ranjan also directing and co-producing.
