The Simpsons Predicted Labubu? The Internet Is Freaking Out Over This Viral Video

June 28, 2025: The world can’t seem to get enough of Labubu—the quirky, big-eyed plush toy that started off as an indie art creation and is now a certified global fashion accessory. Originally crafted by Hong Kong-based artist Kasing Lung, Labubu first emerged around 2015. Fast forward to 2025, and the doll is everywhere—from high-end celebrity streetwear looks to Gen Z’s go-to statement piece.

But as Labubu’s popularity skyrockets, so do the conspiracy theories surrounding it. Social media is abuzz with a resurfaced clip from The Simpsons—a show long accused of eerily predicting real-life events.

In the video now going viral, the family receives a creepy statue named Pazuzu, which ends up possessing Homer and wreaking havoc in their home. Fans couldn’t help but notice the uncanny name resemblance to “Labubu” and the sinister undertones.

While the Pazuzu statue doesn’t visually match Labubu, internet detectives and spiritual influencers are drawing parallels. Many are pointing out that the dolls “feel off,” or even give off “dark energy.” Some even claim the toy is a “modern demon in disguise,” linking it to Mesopotamian lore and AI-generated comparisons to Pazuzu, the ancient demon of plague and misfortune.

Comments like “I knew there was something wrong with that face” and “The Simpsons doesn’t miss” are flooding platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Others are brushing it off as just another wild internet theory—but even they admit, the timing is strange.

Meanwhile, Labubu continues to trend across fashion circles, racking up thousands of dollars in resale value. But with growing spiritual warnings and the shadow of The Simpsons “prediction,” one question now haunts the fanbase:

Did pop culture see Labubu coming… or is this more than just a toy?
