NSFW platform CamSoda offers HBO Max and cast members $500,000 each to air or reenact the controversial deleted scene featuring characters Piper and Zion.
April 12, 2025: The White Lotus Season 3 might be over, but controversy continues to swirl around the hit HBO series. Creator Mike White recently revealed on the post-show podcast that a steamy sex scene featuring Piper (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Zion (Nicholas Duvernay) was filmed—but ultimately cut from the 90-minute finale due to time and tonal constraints.
“It would have added 10 minutes to the thing. It had a rom-com vibe in the middle of trying to kill the family with pong-pong fruits. It just felt like I was trying to do too much narratively,” White said.
💰 $500K Offer to Unleash the “Inner Freak”
Following the revelation, adult streaming platform CamSoda sent a formal offer to HBO Max, pledging $500,000 for the exclusive rights to air the deleted scene. The company also proposed paying $500,000 each to Hook and Duvernay for a live Q&A or reenactment on their platform.
CamSoda’s VP Daryn Parker wrote:
“Everyone wants to see what’s underneath the expensive dresses and uptight facade… We know she’s hiding her inner freak and we want to unleash it.”
🎬 What Was the Deleted Scene About?
The scene reportedly depicted Piper losing her virginity to Zion after a disastrous night at a monastery. Earlier in the season, her brother Saxon (played by Patrick Schwarzenegger) referenced her virginity, setting the stage for a later emotional and intimate moment—ultimately left on the cutting room floor.
While HBO hasn’t commented on the offer, the buzz around the deleted clip adds yet another provocative layer to a season already brimming with scandal, betrayal, and twisted family dynamics.
