The Season 3 finale pulled in a jaw-dropping 6.2 million viewers on Sunday night, marking a 30% spike from the previous week and a 158% increase over the premiere. It’s now clear: The White Lotus isn’t just a cult favorite — it’s a full-blown global phenomenon.

After exploring luxury locales in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand, the series may finally be headed to Europe. According to Deadline, HBO and the Four Seasons Hotel chain — now official partners — are eyeing several of their stunning European properties for the next installment. Options reportedly include Paris, London, Geneva, Athens, Budapest, Madrid, and Lisbon.
HBO Executive VP Francesca Orsi teased earlier this year, “We’re going on some location scouting in the next couple of weeks, so we’ll know soon… Chances are, somewhere in Europe.”

Don’t expect any snowy getaways, though. Creator Mike White is famously averse to cold weather. “I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular,” he joked — but still hinted at more bodies washing up at White Lotus resorts.

Despite the buzz, production is taking a short breather. Deadline reports that any formal scouting has been delayed until summer, with White taking a well-deserved break after writing every episode of the third season.
