This Navratri, Sunita Ahuja Prays For Son Yashvardhan’s Success Ahead of Bollywood Debut

April 6, 2025: Ahead of her son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s highly anticipated Bollywood debut, Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, has been praying fervently during Chaitra Navratri for his success.

Sunita shared her heartfelt wishes for her son, hoping he receives great fame and makes a significant mark in the industry.

“I have been praying to Mata Rani that Yash shall receive a lot of Yash (fame), and he shall make a mark of himself in the world,” she said, adding, “I have requested Mata Rani to always protect and look after him, and that no one should be able to cast an evil eye on him. He shall be blessed with a lot of name, fame, and wealth.”

Sunita also shared how her son celebrated this year’s Chaitra Navratri. While Yash usually consumes non-vegetarian food for his protein intake, he decided to give it up during the festival, although he is not fasting.

Yashvardhan is set to make his Bollywood debut in a drama helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sai Rajesh. The film will also star Babil Khan, the son of the late Irrfan Khan, and is scheduled to release later this year. Before pursuing acting, Yashvardhan worked as an assistant director on films like Dishoom, Baaghi, and Salman Khan’s upcoming Kick 2.

Sunita also spoke about her daughter Tina, saying, “With the blessings of Mata Rani, Tina has been doing a lot of work and collaborations.” She concluded, “May the blessing of Mata Rani be with both my children.”
