April 30, 2025: Thudarum Day 5 Box Office Collection: Mohanlal’s Film Maintains Momentum With ₹6.5 Crore Tuesday Haul
Thudarum, the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam crime thriller, is proving to be a massive box office success. The film, which released on April 25, maintained a solid hold at the box office on Tuesday (April 29), earning ₹6.5 crore net, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
After an impressive start and a strong weekend, Thudarum has shown minimal weekday drop, reflecting its strong audience connect and critical acclaim. The 9% dip from Monday’s ₹7.15 crore earnings indicates a steady trend. The total domestic net collection now stands at ₹38 crore.
Box Office Breakdown (India Net):
About the Film:
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, Thudarum follows the emotional journey of a man whose life is upended after the mysterious disappearance of his beloved vehicle. Mohanlal leads the cast alongside Shobana, with music by Jakes Bejoy.
The film has benefitted not only from glowing reviews and a gripping storyline but also from the residual goodwill of L2: Empuraan, Mohanlal’s last big-screen hit.
With Retro and HIT 3 set to release on May 1, Thudarum may face box office competition, but it is expected to continue its strong run owing to robust word-of-mouth.
