Thudarum Roars Past ₹190 Cr at Box Office, Eyes 200 Crore Milestone in Style
Updated: May 11, 2025 | Mohanlal’s unexpected box office juggernaut Thudarum is nearing the ₹200 crore milestone after an exceptional 15-day run. Despite stiff competition from Tourist Family and other new releases, the crime thriller continues to dominate both Indian and international markets, riding on strong word-of-mouth and critical acclaim.
The film added ₹3.19 crore net on its third Friday in India, a marginal dip from Thursday’s ₹3.60 crore — a sign of robust hold at the box office.
With only ₹9.46 crore left to touch the ₹200 crore mark, Thudarum is poised to become Mohanlal’s second film to achieve this feat after L2: Empuraan (₹268.05 crore). It also cements its spot as Mollywood’s 3rd highest-grossing film, trailing only L2: Empuraan and Manjummel Boys (₹241.56 crore).
