Pop culture insiders and scoopers like Chad Ryan aka The GeekyCast have likened Thunderbolts to the critically acclaimed Captain America: The Winter Soldier — a grounded espionage-action thriller. “The action scenes are amazing,” Ryan wrote earlier, echoing sentiments from early November test screenings.

Jenkins Peeler, another entertainment source, revealed that Thunderbolts scored among the highest of all Phase V films in test screenings. Some viewers even dubbed it “the best Marvel film since Endgame,” despite the franchise’s recent string of underwhelming entries.
