Authorities are investigating the murder as a suspected femicide amid rising violence against women in Mexico

The shocking crime, partially witnessed by her 100,000 followers, is now under investigation as a suspected femicide.

📹 Murder During Livestream
Valeria was interacting with fans during a TikTok live session on Wednesday when an unidentified man arrived at her door and handed her a small package. According to reports, she jokingly referred to the package contents as a “little piglet” — moments before the broadcast took a gruesome turn.
Within minutes, Marquez was seen slumped over, blood visible on camera. The livestream abruptly ended when someone off-camera picked up the phone.

🔍 Investigation Underway
A spokesperson for the Jalisco Attorney General’s Office confirmed that the suspect had arrived at the salon earlier in the day, asking for Marquez by name. He returned later and carried out the attack. Authorities have not yet released the suspect’s identity but confirmed that the individual does not have ties to organized crime or cartel activity.
The case is being treated as a suspected femicide — a term used to describe the gender-based killing of women or girls.
