Despite multiple public sightings and growing speculation, insiders say there’s “no proof” of a romance between Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas — just shared fun, mutual respect, and maybe a few helicopter rides.

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are making headlines after being spotted together at several high-profile outings — but sources insist fans may be reading too much into it.
The two were photographed leaving David Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday bash in London last weekend, trying (and failing) to keep a low profile. Cruise, 62, smiled at cameras while de Armas, 37, ducked behind a seat in their SUV. It marked yet another sighting following months of public appearances, including a Valentine’s dinner in February and a helicopter ride in April — piloted by Cruise himself.

The latest encounter has only amplified romance speculation. However, a guest at Beckham’s party told Page Six, “They had a blast and clearly enjoy hanging out, but I’ve got no proof it’s romantic.”
Both stars have big films releasing within weeks of each other: Cruise in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning on May 23, and de Armas in Ballerina, a spin-off from the John Wick universe, out June 6. A source close to the Ballerina production said their connection may be professional. “If they’re friends, he’s probably mentoring her,” the source added, noting her admiration for Cruise’s stunt work.
De Armas has praised Cruise in interviews, saying, “I’m not at a Tom Cruise level yet… But I totally get why he does it. He’s so mind-blowing.”
The Cuban-born actress, who rose to stardom in Knives Out and No Time to Die, has had a string of high-profile relationships, including with Ben Affleck and Tinder exec Paul Boukadakis. She now splits time between New York and a $7 million home in rural Vermont.
Cruise, meanwhile, has famously married three times and most recently dated Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova. But when it comes to new love, one Hollywood insider is skeptical: “It doesn’t feel like they’re dating,” the source said. “He’s very protective. He’s very private. You never hear a word about anything from anyone.”
While speculation continues, there’s still no official word from either camp. For now, the verdict is simple: the two are enjoying each other’s company — whatever form that takes.
