Tom Cruise Crosses Enemy Lines: Action Star Attends Oasis Concert Despite Band’s Past Disses

London, UK | July 29, 2025: Tom Cruise, one of Hollywood’s most enduring action stars, known for his relentless dedication to death-defying stunts in blockbusters like the Mission: Impossible franchise and Top Gun, recently made headlines for an unexpected appearance. Despite a well-documented history of public criticism from the Gallagher brothers, Cruise, 63, was spotted attending an Oasis concert at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on Friday, July 25th.

The presence of the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning star at the highly anticipated Oasis reunion show has surprised many pop culture enthusiasts. For years, members of the iconic British rock band, particularly Noel and Liam Gallagher, have been vocal in their disdain for the actor. A notable instance of this animosity was captured in the 2007 music documentary, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, where the Gallagher brothers publicly mocked Cruise.

However, the past seemed to be put aside as Cruise reportedly enjoyed the first of Oasis’s five Wembley performances. According to NME, the actor was seen among the throng of fans, with British DJ Goldie even sharing a selfie with Cruise from the event, nearly two decades after the band’s notorious disses.

Cruise, whose latest film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning was released earlier this year to critical acclaim, seemed unfazed by the historical “bad blood” from the Oasis camp. He reportedly attended the concert alongside his Deeper co-star, Ana de Armas, 37, adding another layer of intrigue to his appearance. Other celebrities spotted at the packed Wembley Stadium included Dua Lipa and her fiancé Callum Turner, and presenter Fearne Cotton.

Oasis’s reunion tour, a highly anticipated event following their disbandment over 15 years ago, kicked off in Cardiff earlier this month before moving to London. The band is scheduled for several more dates at Wembley throughout July, August, and September, before embarking on international legs of their tour. Cruise’s attendance at such a high-profile event, despite the long-standing public animosity, suggests either a remarkable ability to overlook past comments or a genuine appreciation for the band’s music.
