The 62-year-old actor, known for doing his own death-defying stunts, stunned fans with behind-the-scenes footage shared on his Instagram on June 5. The clip shows Cruise meticulously planning and executing one of the most dangerous stunts of his career: jumping out of a helicopter while strapped to a parachute soaked in fuel and set on fire mid-air.

Explaining the risks to the crew, Cruise said, “If this is twisted while it’s burning, I’m going to be spinning and burnt.
