April 10, 2025: Tom Hiddleston is set to reprise his iconic role as Loki in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, which will be directed by the Russo Brothers. The film, slated for release on May 1, 2026, marks another monumental chapter for the beloved character, especially after Loki’s apparent demise at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Hiddleston, who has portrayed the anti-hero Loki in several Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films since 2011’s Thor, has teased his return to the character with excitement. In an interview with Comic Book, Hiddleston shared his eagerness about Loki’s comeback, saying, “It’s really remarkable that I can talk about it because mostly I’m in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything… it’s been an extraordinary chapter of my life playing Loki, and it’s not over yet.”
