Tom Holland Confirms 'Spider-Man 4' Will Start Filming Next Summer
October 24, 2024: Tom Holland is set to make a highly anticipated return as Spider-Man! During his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Holland confirmed that production for his fourth Spider-Man movie will begin next summer.
He expressed his excitement, saying, “Everything’s good to go — we’re nearly there. Super exciting. I can’t wait.” This marks his first return to the iconic role since 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was famous for bringing together the Spider-Man trio of Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield. Reflecting on that film, Holland called working with Maguire and Garfield the “highlight of my career.”
Holland also shared a fun tidbit about how the production managed to keep the massive surprise of their reunion under wraps. Tobey and Andrew would reportedly arrive on set in cloaks, making it feel like a scene out of Star Wars to maintain secrecy.
In addition to reprising his role as Spider-Man, Holland will soon collaborate with legendary director Christopher Nolan. The duo is working on an upcoming film, written and directed by Nolan, set to release on July 17, 2026. While plot details are being tightly guarded, the film is already creating buzz, with Nolan producing it through his Syncopy production company alongside his wife, Emma Thomas. Spider-Man and a Nolan collaboration? It’s a thrilling time for Tom Holland fans!
